Summerlin Art Festival
Join us October 12 at 3 p.m. at the Summerlin Art Festival for our next Desert Companion on Tour. Editor Andrew Kiraly will be speaking with Cirque du Soleil performers to give us a behind-the-scenes look of life both inside and outside Cirque du Soleil. How does one become a Cirque performer? What's it like? Also, we'll talk about the psychology of entertainment in general — what makes people laugh? gasp in wonder and excitement? -- as well as how the Cirque brand brings a unique twist to traditional circus entertainment. Of course, we know that Strip performers have a very special dedication to their craft, and we'll also talk about the lifestyles and regimen of Cirque performers beyond the stage. How does an acrobatic performer stay in shape? How often do they rehearse? And what's a clown do when he's not clowning around? We hope to give the audience a new view of Cirque performers not as just as professionals, but as people.
Also, make sure to catch-up with one of Cirque’s Brand Ambassador's to get a prize and a special discount to an upcoming Cirque show right here in Las Vegas!
